The public will take notice that the Wake Forest Planning Board and the Board of Commissioners will hold a joint public hearing on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. in the Wake Forest Town Hall. The purpose of the hearing is for consideration of a request filed by Nelson Leonard for a special use permit for a private club in the RA-UC, Renaissance Area-Urban Center zoning district for property located at 403 South Brooks Street. Tax PIN: 1840-59-3856.
The public and interested parties should take notice that substantial changes might be made in the advertised proposal reflecting objections, debate, and discussion at the hearing.
The Planning Board will consider the request at its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. and make a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners, at its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. will consider the application and the recommendation of the Planning Board and may, in its discretion, choose to modify it.
