PURPOSE
The purpose of the Planning Board is to establish principles and policies for guiding action in the development of the Town and to acquire/maintain in current form such basic information and materials as are necessary to an understanding of past trends, present conditions, and forces at work to cause changes in these conditions.
TERMS OF SERVICE
Inside-town members of the Planning Board serve three-year terms. Outside-town members serve two-year terms and are appointed by the Wake County Board of Commissioners.
MEETINGS
The Planning Board meets the first Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted, at the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St.
