The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department's Girls' Volleyball League is open to girls ages 9-16 (player's "league age" is determined by their age on Jan. 1 of the current year).
The youth athletics participant fee for residents is $40 per player (per season) and $80 per player (per season) for non-residents.
Registration is held annually throughout the month of April, with teams formed in mid-May. To register a player for the league, click the "Register Online" icon.
Practices will begin in mid-May, with games being played through early July. Practices and games will be held Monday-Saturday at the Flaherty Park Community Center and local school gymnasiums.
Skills Clinic for Beginners: A 3-week youth skills course that teaches and trains volleyball fundamentals for beginners (grades 5-8). A range of skill levels is acceptable and expected. Presented by Triangle Volleyball Club, the beginner clinic is the perfect beginning volleyball experience.
Skills Clinic- INTERMEDIATE: A 3-week youth skills course that teaches and trains volleyball fundamentals for intermediate players (grades 6-8) who have some introductory experience (recreation leagues, other basic camps/clinics. Presented by Triangle Volleyball Club, the intermediate clinic is a great way to develop early skills.
