You may download an application from this website or obtain one at Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St., Wake Forest, NC 27587. You may also call 919-435-9492 to have an application mailed to you. Applications must be received by mail, delivered to Town Hall or emailed to Virginia Jones by 5 p.m. on the closing day. All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening. EOE/ADA. Once submitted, application materials become the property of the Town.

When we receive an application, we send out a post card to each applicant to confirm receipt and to ensure consideration.  To check on the status of a position, please scroll down to the bottom of this page for additional information.  All qualified applications are forwarded to the hiring department and as soon as we hear from the hiring manager, we update both this webpage and our job line. Unless there is an update posted, applications are still being reviewed.  For general employees, we will contact you within two weeks of the position closing date if we are planning to pursue your candidacy.  Our hiring process takes longer for police officers, however, we will contact you within three months of receiving your application if we are interested in pursuing your candidacy.
