The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles’ Mobile Driver’s License Unit returns to the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St., on Monday, March 20. The mobile unit will be in the Renaissance Centre Grand Hall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The compact mobile office is part of a statewide initiative to improve customer service and reduce wait times at the DMV.
Featuring two driver’s license examiner stations, the new mobile office offers all the driver’s license services provided in brick-and-mortar offices, including driving tests.
The Renaissance Centre Arts Annex typically hosts the Mobile Driver’s License Unit but ongoing renovations inside the annex will force the mobile office to relocate to the Renaissance Centre Grand Hall.
The mobile office will return to Wake Forest on Monday, April 3, at 9 a.m.
