NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
THE TOWN OF WAKE FOREST SEWER AVAILABILITY FEE
The public will take notice that the Wake Forest Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wake Forest Town Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments with respect to changes to the Town of Wake Forest’s Sewer Availability Fee. The proposed revision would help recover some of the added costs associated with utility merger with the City of Raleigh and with growth-required improvements to the system.
The Board of Commissioners may consider this and may, in its discretion, choose to modify it. All interested citizens are invited to attend the hearing. More detailed information about the request may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office, 301 S. Brooks Street, Wake Forest, NC 27587.

CONSIDERATION OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART II OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF WAKE FOREST TO ADD A NEW CHAPTER 37 ENTITLED “PUBLIC ART PROGRAM” AND TO ESTABLISH A ONE PERCENT ALLOCATION FOR PUBLIC ART
The public will take notice that the Wake Forest Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wake Forest Town Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to consider an amendment to the Municipal Code, amending Part II, to add a new Chapter 37 entitled “Public Art Program” and to establish a one percent allocation for public art. A copy of the proposed amendment is on file at the Wake Forest Planning Department and is available for public inspection during business hours.
The public and interested parties should take notice that substantial changes might be made in the advertised proposal reflecting objections, debate, and discussion at the hearing.
