Wake Forest's 100th birthday is being celebrated with a variety of events throughout 2009, beginning with First Light Wake Forest on December 31, 2008. You're invited to join us for this once-in-a-century celebration!
The 2009 Wake Forest Centennial Celebration Committee was formed in December 2006 with the mission of commemorating the town’s 100th birthday, recognizing its long and storied history, and honoring the many organizations, businesses, schools and individuals that contribute to the community.
The committee has several events planned to commemorate Wake Forest's 100th birthday. In order to make 2009 a year to remember, however, we need your support. We are seeking community groups, businesses or organizations that would like to participate in any of the Centennial Celebration events by providing sponsorships or donations - or by volunteering.
Don't miss out! This once-in-a-lifetime commemoration promises to offer something for everyone. Together, we can make this the greatest celebration in Wake Forest's history.
